Metal Emblems and Trunk Badges

The trunk badge is prime real estate. Tesla leaves it fairly plain from the factory, which makes it the easiest upgrade on the car.

Tesla refreshed the Model Y in 2025, and the changes affect what fits.

• 2020 to 2025 Model Y: the original body. Most window decals, brake light decals, and pre-cut light films on this page are cut for these cars.
• 2025 to 2026 Model Y Juniper: the refreshed body. Look for the Juniper-specific emblem. Light films and glass decals for the original body will not transfer.
• Universal fitment: trunk badges, lettering emblems, and interior decals fit all Tesla models regardless of year.

Installation and Care

Nearly everything here is a peel-and-stick install with no tools required. Clean the surface with isopropyl alcohol first, dry it fully, and work in a warm space so the adhesive bonds properly. For window decals and pre-cut film, position the piece dry first and mark your alignment before removing the backing. Metal badges use automotive-grade adhesive and can be removed later with fishing line and adhesive remover without damaging paint.

Once installed, treat a Tesla Model Y badge or decal like the rest of the car. Avoid pressure washing directly at the edges, and skip abrasive polishes over decal surfaces.
